Jeremiah Wright made a career of throwing America under the bus. Now in an ironic twist of fate, Reverend Wright has been flung under the wheels of the jitney and flattened by none other than Barack Obama. The pastor emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ is not only “toxic,” but considered “radioactive” by spiritual son, Barack Obama.

Desiring to climb to the pinnacle of the Windy City’s political machine Barry Soetero was drawn toward Jeremiah Wright’s congregation and its politically connected pastor.  Barry and Michelle were married by Wright and both Sasha and Malia were baptized by the notorious preacher.

Barack willingly sat under Wright’s ministry for 20 years. In other words, Obama advanced politically in Southside Chicago by boarding the controversial Jeremiah Wright gospel bus and rode that bus all the way to the nomination for President of the United States.

It’s undeniable, Barack Obama used Reverend Wright.  Yet Wright, who had no problem exploiting the pulpit to deride America, promote anti-Semitism and misconstrue Scripture to further a racist agenda, seems to resent being exploited himself.

During the campaign, Senator Obama severed the relationship with Jeremiah Wright claiming to be unaware of “incendiary remarks” the reverend had been making for the two decades the Obama’s tithed to Wright’s church.  Either Obama attended or didn’t attend Trinity United Church of Christ, heard the sermons or didn’t hear the sermons, but true to form, Obama wanted it both ways.

Political expediency originally drew Barack to Wright’s congregation and political expediency was the impetus for Barack to hurl Reverend Wright under the bus.

Tire tracks soiling his Africana vestments, and two years after the split began, Wright wrote the president of Africa 6000 International saying,

No one in the Obama administration will respond to me, listen to me, talk to me or read anything that I write to them. I am ‘toxic’ in terms of the Obama administration.I am ‘radioactive,’ Sir. When Obama threw me under the bus, he threw me under the bus literally! Any advice that I offer is going to be taken as something to be avoided. Please understand that!

Those whiny words were written by Reverend Wright to Joseph Prischak, president of Africa 6000 International in response to Prischak’s requesting Wright help petition funds to assist earthquake ravaged Haiti. Subsequently Wright agreed to write a letter to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner on behalf of Africa 6000 to try to get “access to millions of dollars in interest held in an overseas account.”

Jeremiah Wright spent years building a ministry based on “divisive and destructive” language and Obama enthusiastically occupied a pew weekly absorbing the preacher’s disparaging diatribes.  As a result, feeling that an association with Wright jeopardized his political career; Obama did not hesitate to label the former pastor both, “divisive and destructive.”

Obama rode along for years while Wright threw America under the bus, Sunday after seditious Sunday. Faithful congregant Barack Obama learned well if the United States of America can be thrown under the bus, why not toss a toxic hot potato under there too if need be?

Now Jeremiah Wright finds himself relegated to a lowly position, under the wheels of the bus, right alongside the nation the pastor taught Barry to despise.

Hey Reverend, how does it feel?

You have some interesting things to say, but your writings would seem a lot more intelligent if you would proofread before posting. I see a lot of really stupid writing errors that would probably be corrected if somebody would just read it over after it’s written. If I had a virtual red pen, I’d mark all the errors and you might be surprised. Just some constructive criticism for ya.
